Newsletter of the Lancaster and District
Birdwatching Society |
From the Secretary:
Autumn 2000 |
A 'straw poll' of members attending the March meeting suggested that the Newsletter could be improved by more artwork (or any at all in the case of this issue), local guides with sketch maps, identification articles and more on ringing recoveries. If you were not at that meeting and you have strong views, lets hear them!
This has been scrapped and an extra meeting will be held on 23rd April. This change will be increasingly highlighted and boldfaced in the next two newsletters! This change is on the red programme but not in the annual report.
The society has a stock of mugs bearing the logo for sale at £2-50 each
'For Sale' notice board
This will be a feature of future meetings. Members can advertise any items which they wish to sell. A small donation to the Society funds would be appreciated in the event of a successful transaction and obviously in proportion to the financial magnitude of this transaction
