Howard Elliott    113                                          90

As can be seen John Reddish maintains his lead despite being held back by (old) Mark in the early months of the year!  (Old) Mark may be scoring the points but needs to watch out for the stealthy rise through the League of Ray Hobbs.  Meanwhile young Mark (Breaks) should not be dismissed lightly and once university summer holidays begin, if they haven't begun already, he may well shoot up the leader board.  Big Jim is a welcome newcomer and has made a good start.  The League has now gone electronic with most members updating on the web.  Unfortunately people keep forgetting to update so some of these scores are out of date - Carter and the rest  please note!!

FINAL THOUGHTS

The BTO are starting to plan a combined breeding and winter atlas starting in 2007/8 over four years.  This will be the third Breeding Atlas and the second Winter Atlas.  We will require as much help as possible with this survey to achieve full coverage of the area.  So make a note in your diary and look out for further details in future Newsletters.
