RSPB Leighton Moss

Three winter warmers:  on 21st December at 1400hrs, 3rd January at 1030hrs and 7th February at 1030hrs.   For further details, including refreshment-inclusive charges, see leaflets at Leighton Moss.

High tide at Hest Bank:  14th January at 1330hrs.  Ideal event for beginners as wader identification experts will be on hand.  Meet on the seaward side of the Hest Bank level crossing. 

North Lancs. Naturalists

Working parties at: Warton Crag on December 10th (SD498724), Heysham Nature reserve January 12th  & February 4th (SD407599), Burton Wood on January 21st (SD550668).  All meet at 1000hrs.

Recorders exhibits and reports.  Friday 12th January.   Unitarian Church, Scotforth (same venue as LDBWS) 1930hrs.  Talk on recording mammals in the NLN area by Steve Bradley.

California Birds:   Illustrated talk by Andrew Cadman at Over Kellett village hall at 1430hrs on January 18th.
